Self Motivation

August 17, 2016

Motivation by definition is an act of giving someone a reason for doing something. And I wrongly believed this phenomenon was always external. You need someone to motivate you - Friends, Family, Someone, Anyone. People who would give you reasons to fight, to struggle and to achieve. But what if you do not have anyone around you to boost your spirit. Does that mean you are going to fall, get disheartened and shatter. Absolutely NOT. This is when you seek for self- motivation.

There might be times when you stand alone, all by yourself, the entire universe seems to be conspiring against you... Still, believe in yourself and the tremendous potentials that you hold. Think about the reasons that keeps you going, that holds you so strong to the ground. Let nothing shake your identity because you are capable of much beyond you know yourself.

There should not be a day in your life when you don't want to wake up in the mornings for you don't have any reason good enough or any such motivation. When a day seems like a century and you start questioning your meager existence, it is high time then, for Introspection. For knowing what is your greater goal in life and pursue whatever brings a smile on your face. Loosing hope and crying is easy but finding a reason that brings a smile on your face is easier. Trust me!!! #vyomswordsofwisdom

Have eternal faith in yourself. Believe and love yourself . Don't let others judge you. Be your own critic and every time things go wrong just assure yourself its OK. Its the mark of a new beginning. This assurance is all we need. Just find a little spark that ignites your inner passion. (You know yourself the best). It might take some time but eventually things will fall in place. Failure is not falling down but refusing to get up and in order to get up again and again you need to keep yourself motivated.

And if still things do not work out well, never steer away from seeking help from your loved ones because no matter what, no matter how, they will always be by your side in your toughest time without judging you. <3

Top: The Limited
Pants: My find from a local boutique
Shoes & Clutch: ALDO

For today I choose this cosy and comfy "Graffiti print" pants and my off white top with an adorable lace detailing on the neck. Printed pants are something I wanted to try since long but I couldn't find my perfect print. Now finally that I found it, simply love the way all the bright colors co-ordinate and pop up. The added advantage is that it has an elastic waist band for the most flexible and comfortable fitting. To add some more glam I paired it with my Hot Pink shoes and clutch and I am all set.
Hope you liked the look...

XOXO,

Vyom

  3. thanks for the post! I loved it!
staying self motivated is one of the most difficult skills to learn. our instincts are to be passive and to sit on our asses and wait for something to happen. motivating ourselves day in and day out is hard!
