The "Perfect" Date Dress

August 9, 2016

Hey my Loves,

Hope you all having an amazing week... Last week I posted a step by step tutorial on how to achieve smokey eyes for the perfect occasion (Date or Party). I really loved and was amazed at how everything turned out to be so coordinated and put together(I am always skeptical when I begin with).
I have had this beautiful handkerchief dress in my wardrobe for a few months now but was waiting for the perfect occasion to showcase it. Finally wore it for a dinner date last weekend. And this dress is a perfection. An epitome of a classy, elegant silhouette that is sure to amplify your personality manifold times. I loved how the silk dress wraps itself  around the waist and then flares into this gorgeous dress... accentuating your curves and feels so lightweight and comfortable!!! I paired it with a golden clutch and my black caged sandals. :)
The cherry on top was this gorgeous location which made the entire portrait look so dreamy and vintagey (If that's any word ;) ) See it for yourself...

Why so serious??

Pretty dresses make me flutter!!!

No idea what I am up to!!!

Dress: New York and Co.
Clutch: Aldo
Shoes: Charlotte Russe
Earrings: Claire's

PS: A lot of my friends complimented me on my hairdo and I thought I would share the little hack. I used my 1" GHD flat iron to create these beautiful, bouncy and voluminous curls instead of a regular curling wand. And I truly loved the way these curls looked. Once done, did a half hair updo and secured it with bobby pins or a hair clip. Took the side strands and created similar curls. And the best part of this hairstyle is you do not want to be precise with it. Just do it your way and it looks as lovely. Let me know if you are interested more and I will do an entire post on it. :)

See you soon,

Love,

Vyom
