Talking about off-shoulder, its been a rage this season, a fashion phenomenon, and I personally love this style soooooo much. Its a perfect balance of skin show and hide and the most elegant way of flaunting a little skin. The subtlety with which it provides both elegance and sass so effortlessly is amazing. And not to forget its versatility. Can be paired with virtually everything, Jeans, shorts OR skirts. I have a few more stocked up in my wardrobe and will share them with you soon.

Hello my amazing friends. So its one of those date nights that I am talking about and i cant explain how much I love them. Being a big time foodie, I definitely love exploring new restaurants OR going back again and again to my fav ones but there is something so special about a "Date". 

Weekend getaway - Naples Beach

Its hard to believe fall is almost here. Where did the entire year go. Like seriously, days and months seems to be passing by, like the wink of an eye. But Miami is definitely not in a mood to transition from summer to fall so we are graciously enjoying as much as we can of the pretty, sunny days.

This week was amazing as the celebrations for Ganesh Chaturthi (Indian Festival) has commenced. Its always so enticing to be a part of this whole festival where people from varied communities irrespective of their caste or creed get together in the temple and show their love and respect while offering prayers!!! The best thing that I love about the festivals is that they bring all the near and dear ones together in spite of their ever so busy life.

It helps me in being true to myself and at the same time stylish. So its a win win situation. 

Self Motivation

Motivation by definition is an act of giving someone a reason for doing something. And I wrongly believed this phenomenon was always external. You need someone to motivate you - Friends, Family, Someone, Anyone. People who would give you reasons to fight, to struggle and to achieve. But what if you do not have anyone around you to boost your spirit. Does that mean you are going to fall, get disheartened and shatter. Absolutely NOT. This is when you seek for self- motivation.

Mesmerising "Wynwood Walls"

A trip to "Wynwood Walls" was something that we have been planning since long, given the fact that we have been staying in Miami for over 3 years now. Ok, lemme first introduce you all to the "Wynwood Walls". For a Photographer or an Art Lover, this place is no less than heaven. The journey is one of its own kind... This permanent outdoor mural features art from some of the world's most celebrated street artists. It has brought the world's greatest artists working in the Graffiti and the Street art Genre to Miami. The amazing paintings, the vibrant colors and the entire aura around, will impel you to get clicked. 

It was such an amazing and breathtaking epic which I had never witnessed ever before... So I invite you all to join me in my journey while I traverse the streets of Miami as they are being captured via our lens.

Also a little disclaimer: There were tons of beautiful walls and it was so difficult for me choose the best among them. So be ready to be bombarded by loads of pics today ;) 

The "Perfect" Date Dress

Hope you all having an amazing week... Last week I posted a step by step tutorial on how to achieve smokey eyes for the perfect occasion (Date or Party). I really loved and was amazed at how everything turned out to be so coordinated and put together(I am always skeptical when I begin with).
I have had this beautiful handkerchief dress in my wardrobe for a few months now but was waiting for the perfect occasion to showcase it. Finally wore it for a dinner date last weekend. And this dress is a perfection. An epitome of a classy, elegant silhouette that is sure to amplify your personality manifold times. I loved how the silk dress wraps itself  around the waist and then flares into this gorgeous dress... accentuating your curves and feels so lightweight and comfortable!!! I paired it with a golden clutch and my black caged sandals. :)
The cherry on top was this gorgeous location which made the entire portrait look so dreamy and vintagey (If that's any word ;) ) See it for yourself...

Smokey Eyes...

I always awed at glamorous smokey eyes but could never gather courage to try them on myself and I guess that's where the greatest weakness lies. Without even giving it a try, we make a preconceived notion about certain things and give up on them. Smokey eyes was one of those elusive things in my long long list of the impossible :) I even attempted it a couple of times but ended having dreaded black eyes as if someone punched them LOL. Whatsoever I did not give up and kept trying and this is what I came up with ... after which I felt so satisfied and my sense of accomplishment was pretty awesome!!!

Keep reading if you want to know how I created this smokey eyes with a n*ude lips look which is absolutely perfect for a romantic dinner date or any party for that matter.

A small visit to "Little Havana"

Hope you having as amazing weekend as I am or maybe still better!!! Today I wanted to share a super cuteeee girly outfit that I wore for the weekend getaway. It was a short and sweet trip just to say "Hola" to a slice of cuban culture relocated to Miami. It had a glorified backdrop of art with some of its amazing wall murals blended with a pulsating cuban culture. There you could find elderly men playing  the game of "Dominoes" while they discussed their daily affairs and laughed and giggled and danced along the tune of some folk music. It had an omnipresent aroma of the Cuban coffee mixed with some fresh homemade ice-creams that literally stole my heart away. You need to stop and stare and admire the entire blend of this mini Cuba!!!

I am really sorry about the fact that it started raining midway through our trip so couldn't capture as many pics, but the memory will always be fresh... Enjoy!!! :)

Finally its Friday and I am glad this week passed by real fast. Also the weather is changing gradually here in Miami and its much more pleasant relieving us from the scorching heat. Today I wanted to share with you this super cool and casual summery minty top. I have fallen head over heels for this cold shoulder top and its alluring crochet details. The fabric is super comfortable and my love for mint green was fully justified after owning this top. To match it up I got these amazing tassel shoes and my lovely earrings.

But what actually success is, and how do we define it? A very thoughtful question and I am pretty sure everyone will have a different answer because every individual has a different parameter to define it. Technically "accomplishments of your goals(whatsoever)" would mean you are successful.

Its so funny that in my younger days, I thought its a luxury only the rich can afford but with age and time I gradually realized how important it is to define your individuality and etch your memories on others. For the last 40 days of my life I woke up screaming "Mommy" and rummaging into the kitchen looking for my morning tea. Then spent almost an hour sipping my tea, gossiping, chuckling and giggling... And then the actual day began with a detailed agenda for the day, our To-Do list which included anything and everything from cleaning, cooking to shopping. Ohhhh what a golden period of my life it was!!!

It was  back in the year 2008 when this Bollywood movie "Dostana" released.  An impressive trailer with the most glam star-cast had me bowled, so finally I was in the theaters watching it(I was in college then). The movie began with the dazzling, sensational song "Shut up and bounce". I was literally awed by the song (Too much glamour for me to handle. LOL) and throughout the song just kept on wondering what place is this that looks like heaven. If someone could just answer me... Towards the end of the song the tempo increased, the night life began, crazy dance party on the rooftop of a penthouse... And there flashed the letters "Miami" Everything resolved... I started daydreaming of this place, it kind of became my obsession. The only goal of my life was to be here... Just once!!!

I hope its been a wonderful week so far and must be dearly waiting for the weekend... Right???
Travelling has always been something which never made me tired or fatigued in any ways. I always loved it by all means. The excitement of exploring a new place, adding some more adventures in my bucket list or meeting some loved ones always made things so invigorating. The return journey would definitely be with a heavy heart but I always indulged into retrospect, mostly segregating the fond memories of the journey and securing it in my memory vault. It gave me ample of time to talk to myself and I love doing that (Am I crazy??).

As I already said in my previous blog, this was my first experience with snow ever and I always admired the way how dreamy and beautiful the pictures in snow turned out to be. So my bestie was in town and I was looking for a nice cosy place where we could sit, relax and have a tete-a-tete. So I surfed through the internet and came across this really cool place called No.VI coffee (Novi, Michigan) where they served in-house coffee.

I know everyone is in a rush and prefers their coffee on the go… But if u have some spare time that you want to spend in leisure, this place is pretty good. So go and grab your cuppa right away…

My winter “lookbook” 2

Hellooooooo my wonderful friendz... I am here with yet another winter lookbook. I think I have a “love-hate” relationship with both the seasons “ summer” as well as “winter” ... It’s difficult to handle the scorching sun of summers equally as the frosty chilly winters.
